Well, this is pretty cool.

Unc’s was named Best New Restaurant in Metro Times’ Best of Detroit 2026 readers’ poll.

We’ve only been open a little over a month, so we genuinely did not see this coming. We set out to build the kind of neighborhood pizza place we always wished existed, with really good Detroit-style pizza, plenty beyond pizza and a place that feels easy and welcoming.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us and to our team, who has been working incredibly hard to make this place better every day.

Not a bad way to start.
